Living Waters Christian Churches was formed in Mareeba over 10 years ago. Initially with Ps Adem and Fitret Xhafer and family leading the way for Gods kingdom. It was only a short time later that Ps Jeff and Vicky Xhafer joined the team and the awesome foursome spread the Good Word all over the Tablelands.

Adem had a heart for Cairns and having started Living Waters Cairns Church, commuted between Mareeba and Cairns for many years before finally moving to Cairns. Hopevale and Yarrabah were not far behind with the presence of God raising up new Pastors for their regions.

Living Waters now hosts many different Ministires with opportunities and events for everyone to participate and find their place in the Kingdom. Recently formed Shakinah Dance Crew and Jadon Youth Band are exciting additions to the Cairns Church.

With each Church having various avenues of ministry there is always an opportunity to seek Gods Word. We have Women & Men's ministry, Childrens Sunday School, Dance and Music Ministries available for anyone to participate in. We believe that the heart of the church is its people and we would like to see Living Waters grow and form strong bonds with the community, raising up leaders who serve the Lord with all their heart.

Ps Adem Xhafer is the original founder of Living Waters Ministries, and has a passion and zeal for God that cannot be extinguished.

Having been involved with Olim Aid International, AOG Australia and Youth Alive, Adem has over 20 years in ministry. His leadership has seen the church grow exponentially. With a vision for all nations to come to Christ Adem is committed to giving everything for the Kingdom of God.

Recently re-launching Living Waters Crusades Adem is passionate to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the borders of Australia and into all nations of the world. Having performed outreaches in Pakistan, Albania the Torres Strait, and other nations, Adem knows that it takes great effort, passion and people to succeed.

Adem is constantly seeking to raise up new leaders with a passion for Jesus and God's Word. With wife Fitret & family working hard to increase God's Kingdom, they are a mighty force in the Far North.
